The short version. We store what the game needs to remember your adventurer, and nothing else. No advertising, no analytics, no trackers, no data sold or shared for marketing. We never ask for your name, your address, or your card details — the payment providers handle those and we never see them.
Aurvania: Dungeon Crawler ("the game", "we") is a browser game operated at aurvania.quest. This policy covers the website, the installable web app, and the version played inside the Pi Browser.
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your Koinos address | It is your account. Every save, reward and relic is keyed to it. |
| A display name — by default a shortened form of your address | Leaderboards, the market, and the referral programme. You can change it. |
| Game state: your adventurer, gear, pets, gems, run history, streaks, collection | So your progress survives closing the tab. |
| An AUR ledger: what you earned, spent and had delivered | So "where did my reward go?" has an answer you can look up. |
| Purchase receipts: which product, the price, the provider's order id, and whether it was granted | Proof of purchase, and so an interrupted payment can be finished rather than lost. |
| For Google or email sign-in: your email address | It is how we find your account again on your next device. |
| For Pi sign-in: your Pi username | The same — it is the handle your account is found by. We request only the username and payments scopes. |
We do not store your real name, postal address, phone number, date of birth, card number, or IP-based location profile.
The game creates a Koinos keypair in your browser. If you sign in with Google, an email address or Pi, we keep an encrypted copy of that key (AES-256-GCM, under a server-side secret) so the same account reaches you on any device you log into. That is custody, and we say so plainly:
We set no advertising or tracking cookies. The game uses your browser's local storage on your own device to hold your session token, your account key (if it lives on this device), and your settings. Clearing site data signs you out — and, if you have not exported or linked your key, it will delete the only copy of that account. Export it first.
These parties receive data because a specific feature cannot work without them. Each has its own privacy policy.
Game data lives as long as your account does. Purchase receipts are kept as long as we need them for refunds, disputes and tax records. Your AUR ledger is capped at your most recent 250 movements.
Ask us and we will, for the data we control:
One honest limit: we cannot delete anything from the blockchain. Your address, your token balance and your relics are on a public ledger outside anyone's control. Deleting your account removes our records, not the chain's.
The game is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has an account, contact us and we will remove it.
The site is served over HTTPS. Custodied account keys are encrypted at rest. Payments are verified server-side against the provider before anything is granted — the game never takes a client's word that it paid. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something happens that affects you.
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and say so in the game.
